Heater Blower Motor Fan

I want to buy a Heater Blower Motor Fan, and possibly the blower motor. Mine is messed up where the shaft housing is pressed onto the fan. I need a good solid fan. Please let me know what you have, and price shipped to 95357.

Also, I would like the blower motor if it's an OEM and in good working order. Also, I would like it to be a good piece that can be cleaned and repainted to show quality. Please post a pic of the blower motor if you have one.

Thanks!

Re: Heater Blower Motor Fan

Pretty sure I have a OEM fan & motor combo in the parts shed stashed away. Will be tomorrow afternoon before I can check. Will look and see what condition it is in before I go any further.

Thanks! I guess I should add that mine is an Air Conditioned truck.

Richard,
I'm pretty sure I have one in my garage that works and is in good condition. I will post some pics tomorrow when I get back home.

Re: Heater Blower Motor Fan

Found the fan & motor combo I mentioned. Bench tested to make sure it works, runs smooth with no vibration or bearing noise. Motor body has no rust, just needs a fresh paint job to look really clean. The fan unit is nice with no missing or mouse chewed plastic blades. Still attached to the motor with original "push" nut retainer. Not sure if it is from a A/C truck or not, how can I tell, no part numbers on the motor housing? Fan unit is marked with a big " H " (Harrison, I think) and has # 3157437 on it. Can do pics if interested. Would do $30 shipped to your door.

I am interested. Could you please post some pics? I will create a thread asking if anyone knows for certain. Thanks! Richard

Re: Heater Blower Motor Fan

Jorge, what was it pulled from? Was it an A/C truck? Is the fan metal or plastic?

Richard,
It was pulled from a 72 C10 without A/C. The fan is plastic.

Re: Heater Blower Motor Fan

Sorry it took so long to post the pics, used up the digital batteries during Christmas and had to re-charge. I finally did find some lettering on the motor housing, says "Dayton, Ohio -- Delco Prod. -- USA" There are some other letters and numbers under the paint, looks like ***720 and " P - 12-70"
Would need to remove more paint for better look see. I "think'' the 12-70 shows mfg. date but not sure. Hope the pics are clear enough to show what you need. Let me know what you decide.

Ok, I found out what seems to be the difference between a non-A?C and an A/C blower motor: there is a little port, or hole in the side of the motor in which a little hose fits. Does your motor have a hole on the side of it? It should be somewhere near the 3 or 4 O'clock mounting position.
Thanks!

Re: Heater Blower Motor Fan

Sorry but no hole or port on the side of the motor housing. If it will help I could drill you a hole in there if you would like. Guess I can't help you on this one. Nice try tho.

Richard,
x2, no port on this one either... I will keep an eye out for one in the meanwhile.
