I am going on Saturday. I have not been in like five years I can't wait. I hope to find some wheels. Are there any more coming up around here?

Swap meet

I would be interested in going if I knew where it was going to be held. Also, is there a web site that tells more about it as in:
general swap meet, truck specific... etc.

Would you respond to the points you have info on.

thx, JDY

It's this Friday through Sunday in Decatur at the Wise County Fair grounds along Hwy 51. If you take 287 north to Decatur, take the Hwy 51 exit and go back to the south (or south west) about 2 miles and it will be on the left. Usually a good meet, if it's not too cold. Getting bigger every year. It's for anything automotive-don't know of any year/vehicle type limits. I don't know of a website, but it's usually in the papers.

Here's the site for more info: http://www.wcaac.com/dsm.htm

Smokey and I will have two spaces out there. If you want to come say hi, we welcome you. I'll have my '70 lwb Chevy (Gold Nugget) and there will either be a red F*rd ranger, black '40 Ford or a green '56 chevy wagon (War Wagon) next to me.

Spaces 570-571 When you get into the swap ask where the tire shed is and we will be just to the East 1 row of it.

It's definately a good swap to go too. The only thing is that it's either really muddy or really dry with lots of dust. However, it's almost always cold. There are definately some good deals to be had there.

I'll be there both Saturday and Sunday. I've gone every year since 1987.

I'll wear a Hurst Fire Department tee shirt, if anyone spots me and wants to talk or kick my butt or something, I'd be glad to meet you.

Yeah, it's going to be muddy, but we were smart and quick enough to get reserved spaces on the pavement.
