Hello from Missouri

Hey guys my name is Mark. I'm new ish to the site been browsing for some time have tried to register but my e-mail add. have been turned down...anyways some of you may know of my Dad oldman3..i have been building things since i was 17 and am now 40 i built or have helped with 67 longbed,41and 47 ford a 50 ford 2door a 68 firebird and am now helping out a friend with his 48 ford p/u...I have a project of my own it is a 52 AD dubbed "orange peel" will post a build when i can...I am a boilermaker so i travel and work on it when i can..

Mark, Welcome to the site. Post some pics if you got any. I'm a radiological control tech. and i like giving boilermakers a bad time. sounds like a nice project, and theres plenty of info on here.

Yeah i know i do..we both teach each other new things all the time.
actually you have seen some of my work on jimbo's 67 longbed i did alot of the metal work

That's a speed bump bumper!! I like it, sure sits low. What are your plans for it or are you like the oldman-do everything backwards get it finished and the show us how you did it!!

my plans are installing a LT1 backed by 4l60E tilt ,Air ,cruise Power one piece windows.. the frame is almost done it has a triagled 4 bar and a 71-73 camaro stub that i Z'd about 3-4 inches the interior will be a mechanical metal theme i have made my own custom pedals ans steering wheel as well..
i will start a build thread when i get more work done I leave tomarrow for work so ill be gone for a bit

I too went with an LT1/4L60E in my 48 AD. It must be a MarK thing...just kidding.
Give me a shout if you run into any snags with that powertrain as you get closer..

Thanks Mark....No the wheels are not coys. They are US Mags. They are a 2 peice wheel have a polished stainless hoop (inside and out) and unfortunatly are over twice as much.

Good luck with your build you are on the right track.
