Re: what did u get for xmas

kids and grand kids all home at the same time for Christmas for first time in years. Since # is the topic too, I lost about 40# this year, just pretend you are allergic to milk and eggs, found out I was. taking the milk fat and all the stuff it is used in (sauces and processed foods) makes a big difference. Surprising what junk has eggs in it too.

Re: what did u get for xmas

Even though my wish list was long and detailed (all for the truck) I ended up with new hardwood floors in the house and a happy wife. Which is as close as I may ever see "Peace on Earth"

Re: what did u get for xmas

My wife & I have a strange relationship when it comes to gifts - I buy her clothes & jewlery. She buys me tools & truck parts.
For my birthday ( thanksgiving ) I got a pvc headliner, rear rolled pan, pvc liner for the rear of the cab & a front sway bar.
For christmas I got a power window conversion, & front bumper.
Thios is all for a 1949 chevy 3100

Re: what did u get for xmas

Not one thing truck related but no box of rocks or lump of coal. I did get an indoor outdoor thermometer from my son that lets me know If I need to go out and warm the truck up before heading to work in the mornings. I got my bonus from work and some of that will buy a pair of running boards for the 48 and a frame for the roadster project.

My mom gave me three pair of leather work gloves so I don't know what she has planned They will work well as welding gloves too.
