Re: heater switches or blank out

The factory "Deluxe " heater had a dash control with cables to operate the venting. Aftermarket units usually were manually operated with either a switch mounted under the dash or a switch mounted in the factory heater control blank

Post a picture of what you have.

Re: heater switches or blank out

This type was used as an aftermarket, clamps to bottom of dash,or you can drill a hole in the block off plate. Some types had a bulb inside that lit up when on. Under 20 bucks, do a google search for heater switch.

The factory one is about 200 and you need the cables as well.

Re: heater switches or blank out

The standard heater had a single knob switch in the blank out plate. Deluxe had the three lever type.

You were lucky to score that deluxe heater control from a junkyard. You can get all of the parts to restore it. Those bring a good price on EBay.
