Timing of exhaust install

Would it be a good or bad idea to install a pre-formed bolt on exhaust system while I have the rolling chassis of my 72 C-10 in my shop before it goes back to my body man? Seems it would be easier than on a lift after the cab is on and having to look up.
This is the first truck I have done. Can do old 2-cyl JOHN DEERES and 4020's in my sleep!!!!!!
