 Git yer minds out of the gutter!  I'll start, saw this P20 on Saturday down in Baltimore.  They may not be as cool as the C/K/T trucks, but they deserve some love too, I guess.  ...and here are a couple others that aren't mine:

Chevy/GMC StepVans/ValuVans and ChevyVans/HandiVans,they were cool and useful. You sure don't see them a lot anymore.

Some of those Step Vans may be earlier or later,since the style stayed the same so long. I think the horizontal grilles are pre-67. The same with the vans,they had flat windshield 64-66 and curved from 67-70. Then the bigger 3rd generation Vans came out. The 1st generation didn't come with V8s available. The 3rd generation ran from 71-96!!!

The one with the topper built on top, the windshield sure looks like a 67-72 windshield upsidedown.
A long time ago I thought it would be neat to make a motorcycle race truck out of a Panel truck. I just never had the gumption to do it. And the vans especially the forward control ones are just to cool. Quote:

There's a 1985 p20 for sale near my location... I cannot post the picture but the guy says it has a 10' bed/box... It seems to have 8lugs wheels... What motor/trans combo can it have? The only negative thing I see is it has a reefer on the top but I guess it's easy to remove... What wheelbase could it be? It would be nice with some big wheels and porterbuilt setup! Could be interesting to see a stepvan bagged on dually wheels...

About the reefer... There's a thermo-king unit on the top and it seems the interior is insulated. An easy thing to remove for someone who doesn't need it. Maybe what I said wasn't really clear but I think it's a 3/4ton, it's not a dually anyway... I was just saying that a stepvan on 22"semi dually wheels would look killer.
Your also right about the weather; winter is coming! You better wait down south
