Big six con. rod nut

Got the rotating assembly mostly assembled last night, but whoever keeps steeling single socks out of the dryer must be sneekin into my shot and steeling random hardware too! I'm missing 1 Connecting rod nut. I bagged everything as I disassembled the engine, but this one must not have hit the bag.

Anyone know if I can buy a single nut from a parts store, or do I have to buy the whole set?

Would a grade 8 nut work instead?

I wouldn't risk it with a grade 8. (I know that sounds weird)
Try to find a fastenal near you. They have fasteners grade 10 and up.

Can you post a picture give the size of what one of the other nut is?
Maybe i can tell you something then.
But before you buy, go ahead and ask the clerk. They're very knowledgeable and friendly. (at least around here.)

Re: Big six con. rod nut

Does anyone know the size and thread count of the connecting rod studs? I forgot to bring one with me this morning.
