anyone modify stock A/C to work with bagged truck
Anyone modified stock A/C to work with their bagged squarebody truck, blazer, burb? I'm in process of installing Porterbuilt front and rear Dropmembers on my 84 burb. I'm running 22 inch front / 24 inch rear wheels.
I know I've already spent a ton of money on it, taken 5+ years, so I'd like to save the $1,300+/- that an aftermarket A/C system costs and try to keep my stock A/C if possible. Wondering if anyone had managed to do this so the front right wheel doesn't hit the A/C system?

22 inch front wheel? I guess you'll be dropping another $1500 on the Vintage Air. I have it. It works great.

What front tire OD/size?
THE Dropmember moves things forward so that helps. My dually w/a 1.5" notched front x-member in the stock location runs 29" fronts & clears the A/C box/blower motor. Some creativity could locate the blower motor higher as well.
