static drop, tranny question...

Hey all, I did a static drop roughly 4"/5" about 6 months ago. pretty happy with it except I'd like to go an inch lower in the front.

That's not my issue though. I have the stock 305/350 driveline in my 86 2wd swb. when I lowered it, we noticed the driveshaft yoke went almost completely into the trans tail leaving very little clearance if any...

My trans over the past 2 days has completely crapped out on me. We did a rebuild on the tranny about a year ago (6 months before the drop roughly). has anyone else run into any tranny issues with a static drop. could the yoke being against the sunshell have caused this?

thanks!!!
