Re: CPP Engine Mounts

I'm trying to reuse the OEM A/C compressor, do you think these will work?

Re: CPP Engine Mounts

The engine perches installed onto the frame do not dictate this. Its more so the mounts installed onto the engine. Some are fixed, some slide. The slide ones are what you want. That is where the adjustability comes in.

The CPP slider mounts I also have for sale are supposed to allow a low mount AC to be installed. From the summit link -

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/c...yABEgLMcPD_BwE

Notes:
Adjustable from 2.25 to 3.75 in. forward for engines with low mounted A/C compressor.

I never tried installing mine though. But the slides worked well. Worse case scenario I've also seen an aftermarket bracket that hugs the engine real tight to low mount an AC compressor.

Re: CPP Engine Mounts

Not to ruin a sale, but to run the stock A/C compressor, with the stock bracket, in the stock location, on any LS motor, I used stock components. I did this by using the clam shell, frame and motor mounts from a 1973-1987 c10, Square body with adjustable, adapter plates. Also, the Stock, A/C compressor bracket will have to be cut/modified to clear the clam shell motor mounts. Lastly, you will use the stock LS, A/C compressor. Good Luck.

Re: CPP Engine Mounts

Like I was saying with an adjustable adapter plates on the motor. You need room to slide the motor forward an aft.
