chevy engine V1023TAX

JUST what do i have? any ideas? V1023TAX only thing stamped on the block deck right front

bad news, is what you have!!! anything with the letters TAX is all bad... there are a few sites for vin lookup, you may go through a couple before you find yours

OK i think i found it 72 175HP 350 (it has a quad and a manual trans) looks like it was in a C10

my 292 has 190hp, your engine probly had less hp cuz gas crisis making all builders make less guzzlers!!!

TAX also comes up as 1970 350 255hp 4BL with turbo hydramatic in 10-30 series.

it has a four speed behind it that why i said 175HP....it has been rebuilt so no telling just what pistons ECT. where used
