Unhappy GMC Instrument Panel green and red lenses

Does anyone know where I can buy or how to make the colored lenses for the generator light, oil pressure light, high beam light, and turn signal indicator? I have a 1965 GMC c10 my dad and I are rebuilding-restoring.

I've had to do this before, and went and found myself some colored cellophane and got a bit of thin plexiglass and made myself an indicator lens.

alternatively, you could find some thin plexiglass and use an acrylic paint to tint it before you fit it into the panel

Find or call a local TAP Plastics near you and they should have any color Lexan or Acrylic plastic

Have you looked in all the usual catalogs? I know I have seen them for sail somewhere.

Re: GMC Instrument Panel green and red lenses

That will work. I'll have to do that, due to the rarity of them.

I posted a "how-to" on restoring gauge clusters on the forum, it has a section on making those lenses.
