Blinker Problem -Painless wiring/Summit Chrome Column

Well finally got it all wired up and everything worked....well they wored for about 3 blinks!

Left turn signal blinked 3-4x, Right turn signal blinked 3-4x.....then solid illumination. NO MORE BLINKING!

Hazards work as advertised but now the turn signals just stay on when selected. hmmmmm...

Painless kit is becoming a pain in my arse!! Probably something stupid but with 80%+ humidity and Temps in mid/upper 90s my patience are running thin!!

Any ideas?

Swap the blinker flasher and the 4 way flasher and see if the problem happens again or if the 4 ways work fine. I have gone to electric flashers to keep from burning up the old style. Hope this helps.

I knew it was dumb....this heat will make you lose your damn mind! I miss Nor Cal!!

Thx!!!

But damn....just notice the head lights don't work. Pulled light switch out and it's hotter than hell!!

Dash illuminates, parking lights all come on....no head lights. Probably not a new problem, never got to them while messing with blinkers....hmmmm

I just had both my low beams in my impala go bad after sitting for the winter, I'd check the bulbs first, then the switch. My money is on the switch.
