Cool Classic pic of my truck

I've had this for a while, but I just dug it out and scanned it the other day. It's a pic from Lord knows when during the early 80s at my aunt's old house. It pre-dates my birth by a while, and I'm not sure, but it may even be from before my mom and dad got married, or right around that time.

Its my father and my much older cousin Chris skateboarding.

My truck was so new, the galvanized steel bumper was still silver, and the hood has no bend. The white pen-striping that my dad did looks clean also.

Ahhh I'm drooling.

Anybody else wanna share classic (like, waay back in the day) pictures of their truck?

She is a bit hard to see, but here is my old girl when she was only about 2 years old Taken in 82, shortly after my grandfather bought her off my second uncle who originally bought the truck from the dealer. This is what she did her whole life till I bought her Chased cows, and towed them around in the cattle trailer

One of these days I'll dig up some pics of my truck when it was new and green. digging in 6 huge boxes of unsorted pictures takes alot of time. I know theres a couple of my as a little squirt in the truck and a few with my mom's 67 RS camaro in the back ground. As much as I love the truck I wish they would have sold it instead of the Camaro when we moved to Colorado but then again I came home from the hospital in the truck.

I don't know if this qualifies as a classic pic, but is how I bought it.

Check out my signature to see it now.

Re: Classic pic of my truck

I bought a 81 about 10 years ago at a auto auction for $1500.00 that looked just like yours and my buddies laughed at me.6 months later after I slammed it down and put a awesome paint job on her the laughing stopped and there mouth opened. You can do lots a things to those old trucks.Come on get busy.By the way I sold it after I played with it for 6500.00 not bad for a old truck.
