Oil Pressure Line

Hello

Just to confirm. Does the oil line kit from Classic Parts complete the connection from the engine block to the gauge? I believe it does but not sure to order it up. One person told me to go electrical. I am trying to keep cluster original

Yes it goes straight from the block to the cluster.

Re: Oil Pressure Line

Thanks for the help. I knew someone knew the right answer. My father and I are new to the 1972 Chevy Truck C-10. We are learning as we go. I am glad for this forum and Chevy Guru's

Re: Oil Pressure Line

The original oil pressure line are hardlines. Installed on the rear part of the engine just on the left hand side of the distributor. I just replace my sons yesterday............

Re: Oil Pressure Line

Pay careful attention to the fittings in the picture. They are special and not just any oil line kit will work. The oil gage will have the correct fitting built in. You will need to check the block fitting. If you try to use a generic oil line kit with ferrules you will ruin the gage fitting and it will leak.
