you guys are killin me. my 65 longbox has been sitting in the garage collecting dust since last fall while ive worked on my 65 factory short fleet. i realized i hate how the shorty rides and i gotta get back on the schlongbed. not sure if im gonna yank the motor and tow it out behind the barn or just sell it. keep up the good work guys. the trucks look awesome

Here is my 65 Longbed. Purchased in 1991, I have a picture of my daughter flying a kite from the bed, now she has her own daughter. Here in SoCal the longbeds don't get the love they deserve, but, she has many memories and its treated me well over the years.

Oh well I will play. This is my 61 Chevy. The grill that came with it was kinda shoddy so I put on a GMC. Kinda like the looks of it a bit more anyway.

Loving all these long beds, especially the step sides. My neighbor moved a few years ago and had a '59 1T long (9') bed step side that had been restored by the son's grandparents and given to him. He didn't much like it, so it just sat in the driveway until the neighbor went to move and he sold it. He was asking $18k, but ended up selling it for $8k. I wish I had known he was going to go so far down, I would have bought it. It had most of the work done- body work and paint, front end overhaul, reupholstered, new bed wood, etc. Just needed the master cylinder fixed, which is a piece of cake.
