Question How many 73-87 trucks do you see in a day?

How many 73-87 trucks do you see in a day? Not on the net, but in travels to and from school, work, etc.. I know that in my 60+ miles to and from work in Atlanta traffic, I see no less than 10-20 of our body styles daily. I don't see too many customs, but I do see a lot of stock 2wd, 4wd, swb, lwb, work trucks, etc.. I was just wondering if this is the same for any of the rest of you? I got a new camera phone the other day, so I guess I should start taking some pictures of my encounters?

and before anyone says it, I know...

I see a lot of them too (mostly work trucks though). Many nice ones have been spotted around my house. I need to try and stop these guys and have a chat.

I see about 10 on average and most are work trucks. Did see a hoodless longbed the other day and he tried to race, but there was too much traffic out and we never got side by side and then he turned.

there are a lot of 89-91 Suburbans around here. I don't know if I notice them because I want parts off of every one I see (especially a set of power mirrors!) or there are really just that many. I have always noticed that you will see a lot more of a particular vehicle when you own one.

I see alot of them working at Home Depot. Alot of guys here in Texas use them as work trucks since there were so many produced here. Sad to see some of them being abused like they are but it is nice to see them still going srong

On average, 10-20 if not more. There are a lot of them around here. All stock, rusted out beaters. this area is bad for rusting out vehicles due to a lot of salt on the roads and hwys in the winters. Needless to say, when mine's done it'll be kept in the garage for the winters.

Yeah...it would be cool to see a K30 stepside, but i dunno if they were even made. I have never seen a 73-91 long step in person, but i think i saw a 2wd on ebay once.

I rarely see a 2wd model here. Most of what I see is fleetside 1/2 tons and 3/4 ton 4wd. Most are all lifted 4" w/35's, it's almost like a photoshop chop, every one has the same lift and tires, just different body.

Here just outside the rust belt I see maybe 4-5 81-87's (not counting my yard) and thats because I LOOK! I know where 5 or so are that just sit unused and i look for those also:-) . I can count the 73-80's on one hand in a WEEKs time. DAVE
