HEI in 4x4 ??
Hey guy's you all have been great helping
with part leads, this newbe is greatfull. Now for my next question, is it possable to slide a HEI dizy in to the 4x4's ? Looking at the 2X trucks it looks like a slam dunk, but in my 4x4 it looks like it would be real tight if at all possable. I assume someone on thee list has done the field work already. Mike D.

No problem, it will go right in (with the cap off of course).

it will fight, a smaller aftermarket HEI would be a breeze.

HEI
A stock hei will fit, but it is tight! On my 70 4x4 i have to take cap off to get it in or out, and back plug wire is tight against the fire wall (big block) Aftermarket (unilite, mallory) would be better if you want to spend the $. I am about 3 hours north of you if you need any parts, maybe i can help. Eric

I elected to run the MSD ready-to-run distributor in my JImmy and have been pleased as punch. It uses the small window cap.
