fuel tank sending unit brass float

looking for information on where to buy a replacement brass float for a fuel sending unit. All the major auto parts stores look at me funny and shake there heads. Getting desperate. Thanks. I know about ebay.

Re: fuel tank sending unit brass float

you can try a parts store for boiler parts, I know a lot of the low water floats for the steam boilers are brass and they have lots of different sizes.
