building a arms

Anyone ever done it? Also, any ideas where to get the "dog bones" or control arm shafts?

Re: building a arms

I got all my frt ends parts from Advance auto. I had them oreder TRW parts, almost same price as mail order. I like to buy anything I might have issues with(and are heavy/hard to return) locally.
Here a link to my parts page

I haven't done it.....yet. I have been thinking of building some for one of mine. I don't have a source for the "dog bones", but would imagine those who make control arms have them made for them or make them themselves. I would suggest finding someone in your area that does laser cutting. It shouldn't be too expensive to have done. For the shafts I would just use stock ones, that is unless you have something different in mind. I'd be interested in knowing what you find out...

BTW there are a set of uppers for sale in the classifieds section.
