Bill's '64 Project................
For the past year, my friend Bill and I have been working on his '64 short bed. The truck was an older restoration and had several paint issues than would have required a total repaint which was cost prohibitive. Instead, Bill decided to do a faux-patina theme and use his money to refresh the mechanicals and add several options.
Here are some pictures of the truck. The suspension has been rebuilt and upgraded with '79 control arms, disc brakes, drop spindles up front and 3"" drop springs with 1' lowering blocks in the rear. We machined the rotors and re drilled them and the axles to 4 3/4 bolt pattern. The wheels are 15 X 7 68' Corvette AG code rallys. I'm amazed how well the truck rides and drives!
