Re attaching the original emblems

Noob needs help! I just purchased my first 1970 custom 10 longbox. The truck was fairly disassembled when I bought it but had most of the parts in the bed. I'm trying to figure the jigsaw puzzle and get this baby back on the road! I have the original emblems that have the metal studs on the back..... is there a part (insert I'm thinking) that you put in the hole to keep these emblems in place? Any help will be appreciated!
