lowerd 3/4 ton?????? (8 lugs and all)

as i have stated on other thead i have gotten a 52 gimmy from pops it is 3/4 ton and was wondering if there is such thing as a lowerd 3/4 with 8 lugs

I think if youre wanting to keep the straight axle, a dropped axle from someone like sids would be the easiest route. I dont know of an ifs swap that is narrow enough and would retain the 8 lug, although if you can think of it someone has tried it. Probably a dropped axle and removal of leafs in front and axle flip in rear would be easiest. If no one chimes in check out the HAMB. Maybe an AD 3/4 tonner dropped old skool style over there.

Right off I can't think of one on the Hamb that has been dropped.

I think the first question is how much do you want to lower it?

You can get quite a bit by running 15 inch rims an lower profile tires.

Then a dropped axle in front and either removing some leaves or other mods on the rear. There isn't room to put the axle on top of the springs without a big C notch but you might thing about raising the spring mounts on the frame a few inches.

Removing leaves would depend on how big a load you intend to tow or haul in the future.

i would say for towing i'll do my 58 camper prob 16ft lng no more than that the idea of drop front axel ....i like as far as how loww well is never low enough unless it lays flat on ground (not that i would do it and try and keep 8 lugs

Blocks up front is a bad idea. If they give, you are running over your steering ability. There is a reason 4x4 guys don't use blocks in the front.

There isn't much room to flip an axle in the rear but you could pull some of the multitude of springs out in both front and rear.

You could do an aftermarket IFS from any number of manufacturers, then do wheel adapters to get to 8 on 6.5" pattern. I wouldn't suggest this for heavy chores or towing large loads, but it would be one way of getting low and leaving 8 lugs.

Scott's IFS seems to do made to order stuff, maybe you could have them do an IFS with 3/4 ton spindles off a later truck and bags....then you could be 8 lug and on the ground.
