Re Jet Carb After Motor Swap?
Swapped the tired smoker 230 out of my 66 and replaced with a Mexican GM crate 292. I had the original Rochester 1 bbl carb rebuilt a year ago and ran it on the 230 with no issues. The 292 runs great but seems to have an issue when in 3rd gear. Seems a bit fuel starved or almost like it wants to stumble but it doesn't. Wondering if I should re jet the carb. Thoughts?
