August 2017 ToTM
Our July Truck of the Month (ToTM) contest theme is following the weather, at least down here on the coast of Mississippi this applies, probably to al lot of other folk’s summer temps too. So, our theme is:
Man, it is Blazin’ Hot! If you need help, our theme is the Blazer inspired vehicles. Here are the criteria for this month’s contest.
You or someone else may nominate the vehicle. The nominee must be a board member and the current owner of the truck. Once you decide on who you wish to nominate, just add your nomination to this thread. We will need two pictures minimum (at least one full view of the vehicle) with/for the nomination as well as the owner’s board name, the Make/Model/Year of vehicle. Nominations will run through July 23. The first 15 nominees that meet the criteria will participate in the contest We will need two pictures minimum (at least one full view of the vehicle) with/for the nomination as well as the owner’s board name, the Make/Model/Year of vehicle. I will PM the nominees to get any additional data or pictures if they have not already been provided. If the owner has a preferred picture they want used in the contest, please let me know in a PM. You can PM me for an e-mail address in case anyone has problems resizing the pictures for the board. A Poll Thread will be set up by July 24 in this board area and an announcement will be posted on the Discussion Boards to notify all that voting has begun. The Poll will run thru the morning of August 1 and the official announcement of the winner will be on the evening of August 1. The announcement of the TOTM winner will be posted through the General Discussion Board area.

Re: August 2017 ToTM
Thanks. I'm loving your 4x4 blazer. My C10 is the same color, dark olive green with lower wood trim. Love the combo. I just went from a 350 to a 402BB in the C10. It adds to the classic look under the hood, but I would have ended up with more power and fuel economy with a LS for the same cost by the time I was all said and done. The pulleys were a pain in the ass for the BB. Still, not regrets about the big block.
