I found my blazer!!!!!
Here it is. I finally called this old man from my home town and asked him, are you ever gonna sell me your blazer? I have done this same phone call for yours and he said no, but this time he said yes and gave me a price, I could not say no to. So here it is, 1972 blazer 4x4 air blows cold, 8-track works heck everything works great. He was the second owner. It was bought brand new at the dealership in my home town. I still have the inspection sheet when the truck arrived at the dealer.

Gotta love a stock blazer!!!!
What are the boxes on each side of the rear seat?? I love an orange blazer!!! Doesn't look like it needs much of anything---you have any plans for it? Love it!!!

Very nice blazer. I see why you kept calling him. I wish mine was in that kind of shape. Now and when I bought it. Congratulations!

For once, I think i found a truck i would not mess with too much.
Maybe an HEI...that's about it. Oh, and a boom box CD player in the back seat to keep me from cutting the dash. |

wow! that thing is clean enough to eat off of!
IMO, you already have plenty of offroad toys, keep this one stock, or close to it (^what Longhornmail said). It's gorgeous!

Congrats. I think I wouldn't have the patience to deal with an 8 track player though. But it sounds like you have plan B down good with the CD player in the back.

Lift it!!! Can't hurt anything. Just keep the original parts around for the future. 35" tires might be too tall if it has 3.07 gears

Very nice. My $.02...something that sweet I would leave as original as possible. You don't see too many in that sort of shape.

If you are lifting it ,a 4" will clear 35's.That is how mine is,but I don't off road with it.
