I have two sets of these. My trucks metal was shaved/smoothed prior to my purchasing it and it looks like I won't be using these. a little polishing will really make these pop with out looking to bling being chrome like some reproductions ............$26 shipped

Too be clear, we never had a deal. I listed two, sold one and decided the second set was no longer available once I found a hood for my personal truck that had not been filled prior to you "claiming the second set". I wasnt able to post the update prior to your reply. Hardly a "back out" In my opinion. I wouldn't hold my breath on being contacted for another set.

Obviously, something got lost in translation but I did not mean anything negative toward you. I thought your #7 post was a response to my #6 post saying I would take the 2nd set, nothing more. I am new to this sight as a member and enjoy looking for odds and ends that I want/need for my 68'. I think this site is great and have learned a lot since joining, take care.

I apologize. I literally woke up on the wrong side of the bed and tried to reply using my phone at 3am. I didn't read the entire thread before I replied & I NOW see where you were coming from.

you are right this site is THE BEST automotive related site I've been a part of over the last 20 years. I'll keep my eye out for you on a set of hood letters.
