70 drop spindles
The drop spindles I see advertised using stock 70 ball joints and tie rod ends... do they use the standard 71-72 brake calipers and rotors? I have a 72 donor truck... if the answer to the above question is no .... I'll swap the cross members and all that stuff... but if it's yes... that's a whole lot easier.

Yes, they use 71 or 72 parts. You can use 73 and up stuff too. The main difference is the brake hoses and minor caliper differences.
On my 70 with ECE drop spindles, I used 72 spec stuff.

good I already have all that stuff to use as cores. and I can score the brake lines from work. Thanks
oh Tx firefighter, I plan on doing about the same drop as your pic I saw posted in another post...You wouldn't be running long tube headers would you? I'm just curious about the clearance...I think i'll be fine judging from the pictures |

We have a drop spindle that uses your existing tierods,ball joints etc and over the counter 5 or 6 lug rotors you can buy at any local auto parts store.
