Booster to master cylnder rod
For a 68 1/2 ton drum all the way around how long should the rod be that is coming from the booster to the master cylinder?
Thanks

Re: Booster to master cylnder rod
I think it makes a difference which booster you have. I had to shorten the rod in my 69 when I converted to a disk/drum master. I think before I shortened it, it was approx. 5 inches and was adjustable.
I have the "small fat" booster. Rob |

Re: Booster to master cylnder rod
After doing some digging I think I answered my own question. http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...ighlight=power
Looking at post 15 I see that the rod on the booster on the left is the same as mine and the rod length is correct as well.
