All 67-72 GMC rad core supports identical?

And, if a 71-72 grille top bar was removed, would it fit with a 68 hood?

The only thing different I know for sure is the 67-68 has welded nuts along the bottom were you can bolt the splash apron on and the 69-72 does not have that. The only other thing would be some has a hole for your metal condenser lines for A/C and some don't. Yes it would fit but you would have to use a 67-68 top bar. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help, Tim. My reason for asking is that I want to remove as much trim as I can cuz I love the body lines of these trucks. I like the "67 look" with no eyebrows or top bar and was wondering if I could get that with what I have(even tho Ill be using an all chrome 71-72 grille, and a 68 hood with the letters removed and holes welded up) I just want the no trim look even though its the wrong grille. Purists would notice it of course, but I think it could look good

And, I just looked at your awesome stepside! Gorgeous truck. Is that an aftermarket grille?

Re: All 67-72 GMC rad core supports identical?

Check with LMC but I think the core supports for 67/68 were different from 69-72. I don't think that the hood will fit.

From my intel gathering over a couple years, if you want to swap the sheet metal either way, you will need the fenders, hood, and complete grill. Just my $0.02

It does have the GMCembossed in the grill if you look close.

ole greenie you are thinking Chevy. GMC's use the same fender 68-72 were Chevys are 67-68 and 69-72

Very well! Indeed, I am speaking of Chevy metal. My ignorance has been exposed! hehe
