can any one ID this part

i know its something to do with the transmission and its made by dana but it has about 8-10 wires coming off of it and only 3 are being used one goes to ground and the other 2 go down to the driverside of the trans just trying to figure out what the other wires go do and if they are needed
its in a 86 k5 305 with auto trans
it also has 3 adjustment screws on it
and it doesnt look stock
everything seems to work ok last week it rained and the ground for this got rusted and wasnt grounding so i cleaned it off because it wouldnt come out of first gear and after regrounding the wire everything shifts like normal now
just trying to get some more info if any one knows
