You can adjust the hatch brackets a bit. There are the pieces that create tension against the hatch when it is latched closed. If you move them out a bit so they create more pressure, it will help reduce rattles. You might also try to put a piece of thick foam weather stripping on the bottom of the hatch where it meats the tail gate.

Re: Blazer top rattles....any tips?

I'm not exactly sure I'm picturing the problem but I've found that some rattles can be fixed by taking some extra tubing, cutting a half inch square (or what ever size works best) and using that as a wedge or temporary 'seal' to stop rattling and protect whatever the rattling object is hitting..

Re: Blazer top rattles....any tips?

I know what the problem is.

There are a series of bolts that run along both bedsides and 4 in the windshield frame. Remove them. Remove the top.

Rattles will be gone so long as you do not reverse these steps.

the best thing you can do is take it off and never put it back on. That's what I did.

I usually pull the top in mid may. We always get that teaser week in May and I like to try and capitalize on it. I do have a soft top and run it until late September.
