Very cool, congrats! I see you have my Camaro too (or at least the one that would be) My wife likes the orange Camaros. The K5 looks in good shape.

Congrats! Looks like a real nice Blazer (and Camaro and garage). More pics of the K5 needed. That was the way to have it shipped.

Had it shipped from Massachusetts. But the Blazer is originally a west coast truck.

She has a 4 door Jeep rubicon for her daily driver. I think she is hooked on driving the Blazer so it will be driven quite a bit. Specially because she has the Kids car seats in it. My sons love riding in back. The stock rear seat sits so high up they can see everything.

It's an AC truck but it's not hooked up and missing the compressor. That should be an interesting search!

I bought a couple of reman compressors (1 for the Blazer and 1 for the 70 pickup) from Advance Auto online within the last 60 days. Paid $130 and $110 (bigger discount on the 2nd one) and free shipping which was most reasonable I could find. Only a $10 core charge if you don't have one. However, both arrived damaged from shipping UPS (clutch) and I had to exchange both at the local store. They put the compressor box inside too large of an outer box and the slamming around of this 37lb, chunk during UPS handling screwed up both clutch airgaps. The replacement ones shipped to the store on their own trucks were fine.They are working well on both trucks

Yeah, the compressor is easy to find. The brackets, on the other hand, can get fun. Especially trying to figure out exactly what it is you need.

There are seven pieces to the stock brackets, one of which is the main bracket that bolts onto the right stock exhaust manifold. I have bought a set off one of the board members in the past - someone like Teeitup or Sharpie who often part out trucks are good bets for a stock setup. There are two exhaust manifold studs that are specific to AC install also - ask for them too. Since you have headers, I do not believe the stock brackets will work out. Someone who has used an aftermarket bracket set that works with a stock A6 compressor on header equipped trucks will have to pipe in.

Wife's blazer went to the mechanic. Plugs, electronic ignition timing,service tranny,outer tie rod, steering stabilizer, brakes,disks,drums,pads,shoes,brake lines, rear axle seal, brake master cylinder. That's after I changed the oil, filter, fuel pump, fuel filter, battery. Wow these old trucks are not cheap. One day it will be dialed in.

She does have good taste, thanks. The Blazer has a 2" lift Blocks in the rear and springs in the front. It needs new shocks.
