Jimmy Bed Help

Okay my jimmy is in need of a bed, I dont know what route to go. Okay it needs Wheel wells floor and a tail pan? (that's atleast what LMC calls it) all the other supports look to be good. the front half looks to be in okay shape and only needs a few patch's in it but the back is a whole different story. What is the best route to go. Also limited on the $MONEY$. the best bet would be a blazer floor but to find one in good shape that is un herd of for the right price. I thinking a bed from a pickup would work the best but which one long or short bed. But I have no clue what the best optons are that is why I'm posting this I need your guy's HELP!!!!!!!!! here are some pics of what I'm working with. and also i'm not doing a frame off restore if that helps any. Your best bet - find a donor blazer/jimmy and get the floor and maybe the whole body and swap it over.

I see you are located in Utah - there are plenty of these trucks still out there that are likely in far better shape.

Lots of work ahead of you on that one - how is the rest of the truck's floors, etc. **Nevermind - just saw your other post**.

the outside is really good will need outer and inner rockers and driver and passenger floors are not that bad I think I can patch them up but that's about it other then the back floor.

A short bed from a pick up would be easy patch your floor, long bed would be more work but not to difficult. Finding another tub would be the best route, especially if the front floors are just as bad, cheap tubs are out there you just have to look. Thats the route I went to make things easy, drove 4 hours to pick it up which made paying for gas more than paying for the tub. Being in Utah, it should not be to hard to find one. On another note, I still have the old tub that I plan to scrap and would gladly cut parts of the floor that you could use, you pay to ship them. Look at my stalled, due to work, build. The yellow floor if there are parts you could use just let me know.

I cut a lwb bed down , used the rear tail pan and used the blazer mounts as well as frame mount cross braces. Every thing matched up pretty well but was alot of work, try to find a tub if at all possible, not many useable tubs laying around the midwest.
