Pumps going, good time to replace column?

My power steering pump is leaking pretty bad so it's time for a new one, my question is would this be a good time to get a new steering column with tilt?

Is your steering box leaking or the pump? If it is just the pump it wont matter when you do it.

It's the pump, it's leaking being the pulley wheel. I was just curious if replacing the column would require draining all the fluid and all that and figured if I gotta do it already might as well do it all at once

The steering pump and power steering box have little to do with column, there is just s mechanical connection between the column and box. There is no reason to drain the fluid when changing the column. This is no better or worse time than any other to change the column.

to fix the pump you don't need to remove it
this coupler joins it only to the steering box
