Has anyone seen/used this mirror on a truck?

I saw this add on ebay, its a "sport" mirror for vans and suburbans. Has anyone put one on the 60-66 trucks? any pics of trucks with one?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tchlink:top:en

Very pricey.
I'd much rather have GM than Chinese, but I've had one of LMC's side mirrors on my 64 for about 5 years now, and it's one of the few Chinese parts that I have to admit has held up like new.

I really like that ebay mirror - but have to admit I've never seen one on any 60-66. (i've seen a few with a rectangular small mirror - like a really small one, not the standard factory vertical rectangular one, but I've often wondered if folks were just shopping the same item from jc whitneys or something) But at a $75 starting price, I'll just look over my shoulder. I like the round stock ones personally (i.e. the 1st reply).

Nope, never seen one on a truck before either. Looks A LOT like a corvette/stingray (later 63 thru 67) mirror. I've too noticed of few of these listed as burb/van mirrors and have been wondering if I had missed something.
Anybody got an accessory catalog that shows one?

Re: Has anyone seen/used this mirror on a truck?

here's a pic and the description..

Very scarce accessory. GM # 986475. DELUXE OUTSIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR IN MINT CONDITION. Correct for 1966 Chevy GMC Suburbans and Vans. Will also fit 64 65. 5inch round beauty. Will fit left or right. Mounting hardware included.

that probably is correct, just not that common...
my 83 sub came factory with small mirrors like that, they were just like the non remote passenger car mirrors for 83.
