882 heads for $300
While shopping around for heads for my truck, I had a friends cousin price a set of 882 heads to me for $300. He had them gone through by a local machine shop, with good hardened seats put in them. They have the 1.94/1.6 valve setup on them. Are these heads good enough for a very mildy built truck motor that will be used for daily driving and occasionally pulling a trailer? And if so is this a good price for them?

Re: 882 heads for $300
The 882's are decent heads and will work just fine for your intended useage. As long as they are rebuilt properly, $300 isn't a good price. The rebuild cost was likely $250-300.
