292 Speed Parts - Clifford Dual Carb Manifold + Carbs
Fits 292 and 250 I6 engines. Used dual 4bbl Intake manifold, with water heat added (does not interfere with shorty headers). A dual 4bbl manifold with water heat is not a common part!
Also for sale, 4 slightly used carburators - 2 x 4bbl 390 CFM Holleys and 2 x 2bbl Holley Webers. Non-progressive linkages with both sets of carburators. Ended up deciding to simplify life and went with a single 4 bbl manifold. Ran great, looked great, but both dual setups drank fuel and are better suited for strip not street...had to learn that the hard (and expensive) way. Someone with more time could probably rejet or switch to progressive linkage. Need to sell to fund another project. $500 takes all. I will sell either pair of carbs for $200 or the manifold separately for $200. |

What model are the Holley 4 barrels? Do they have chokes? Would you feel comfortable running them as is or do you think they need rebuilding?

Fesser - sorry, my mistake. I took them out and they are Holley 6448 350 cfm 2 barrels. Link to Summit: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-0-7448/. They have maybe 50 miles on them, so I would say no, they shouldn't need rebuilding. Manual choke. Let me know...and thanks for your interest!

Re: 292 Speed Parts - Clifford Dual Carb Manifold + Carbs
Actually, the Holley Webers did. A little more of a challenge because they needed a bell crank to keep the mechanical liinkage, but it ran great from 2,500 rpm and up. Needed a little work on jetting down the idle circuit or maybe setting up a progressive linkage and I think it would have been there. But I ended up putting the truck in storage and then had someone else go through it a few years later and they didn't want to get into dual carbs, so I had it converted to a single 4bbl. The dual 350s ran REALLY rich at the low end, but I have a feeling either would have done the job eventually. Right now this is my daily driver and I'd rather concentrate on PS and PB. But neither set of carbs have been molested, I hope that's clear.
