Thumbs up Overhead Consloe Install How To

A few months ago i installed a overhead console from a 90's Tahoe in my truck and i posted it in the what did you get done tread and Jeff Dodge (73bigblock) asked me if i would do a tech article on it for his web site 73-87.com and now that article is up and if you have ever wanted to or thought about doing this mod but you were not shure how to go about it this will help you in your decision to preform this mod with great results.

Thanks to Jeff for putting togeather an awesome web site for the 73-87 truck enthusiast.

Heres the link to the article

Bruce, you did a great job on the install! I like it.

I always thought it would be cool do do a mod like this, but with a shortened Suburban overhead console...for those who want to keep it all 73-87.

I got lucky and found a Tahoe in the J/Y with the mirror still in it so i got everything from the temp sensor to the mirror including the complete wiring harness.

This is also a great mod i love looking up and seeing what the temp is or if im somewhere im not to fameliar with i can toggle over to the compass feature and know what direction im going.

87 Stepper -
Your mod and write-up looks good. I also think the mirror looks good.
I appreciate the write-up.
