Help ID'ing this color...
Hey guys, I was picked up this 67 GMC parts truck from Bighead & was wondering what the color is ???
It looks to be the factory paint, but I have never seen it before I sat the hood on Killer, then cleaned & polished one side These 2 really show the color well Thanks, Matt |

That right there is a former "Mary Kay" presentation truck. It's a very rare option.Almost as rare as the "Corvette" option.

Re: Help ID'ing this color...
That color was on my 64/5 GMC truck.I've always thought it was a primer!
My 57 is Dusk Pearl and my 65 Caprice was Evening Orchid. All similar colors with different names. G.M. must have got the paint cheap! Mike. |

Re: Help ID'ing this color...
I have seen it on a 60-66 truck and a 60-66 suburban. I think they were both GMC. Didn't know they ever put it on a 67.

Re: Help ID'ing this color...
The color is cool. I have always like colors that are different. You would have to come up with the right theme for the truck.
Let me know if you find that bezel. Don

Re: Help ID'ing this color...
That chart showed`67 Chevy paint.Click on one of the two charts on the right.Palamino Tan was a GMC color used on the prior style truck through`67.I have the rest of that clip.I bought my`67 GMC clip 10 years ago from Nebraska minus a hood. The color chips I`ve seen show it was darker and not at all like the actual paint.
