Yes, the won't let you on the dunes without them. It helps to see where other people are when you are going over hills

Silver Lake isn't part of sleeping bear, its quite a ways south of sleeping bear.

You should take one of your chevy's over here and play in the sand with us next summer, on one of the holiday weekends.

I'm in the Grand Rapids area, about 1 1/2 hours south of the dunes

Cool...I'm about 3 1/2 hours from the dunes myself. If I ever get my Blazer finished I'll have to take it up there.

I spent one summer in Grand Rapids when I was 15/16, that's when I learned about the dunes.
