How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Back in 2004, we did not have a photo gallery available to the site members. At that time a post, How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks, was made by the staff for members. That thread is still alive and kicking, which is great!! However, a bunch of the images are lost due to bad img tags.
We have a site gallery available to all members. It is located at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/ Within that gallery we have an 88-98 category. It is located at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/gallery/...ry.php?cat=504 This category is severely underutilized. I took aprox 200 pictures from the threads, and manually uploaded them to that gallery for you guys. We ask that you go slam that gallery full of your pics. Adding categories is no issue.. If you guys want one set up as a subcategory, such as the Yukon, Tahoe thread etc.. Just PM Josh or Myself and let us know. We can add it in for you. Member galleries are available in the main gallery as well. You can add your own albums, and host your project pics etc for use on this site there. We look forward to seeing the galleries filling up. It was a bit disheartening to see only 52 pictures in the 88-98 gallery last night. Yet the smallest (and growing) area of the site had triple that. I have put the links to the original post your pics threads in this sticky for you guys as well. Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
TCS7,
Here's one way of doing it; Go to your gallery pics, Click on the pic you want to post to enlarge it from the thumbnail size. Right click on the pic anywhere, Then put your cursor on View Image Info than left click; Now this screen will come up, Put your cursor over the blue highlighted line and right click again then move over to copy and left click; Now go to the post box where you want the pic, Left click on the yellow envelope; Then put your cursor over this box and right click then left click paste; It will look like this, Then click OK and the image will appear in your post after clicking "Submit Post" or "Preview Post"; I had figured out how to use the gallery upload and put these pics in there for safe keeping......

Your missing one of the clicks or something Tom, I know it can be a little confusing at first but after doing it a couple times it's second nature....
Another BIG letter grille !!! I used the link posted, Here's a re-sized;

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
You know there are options for this size of pic you insert. You can do a smaller size so it doesn't run off the page.

That would be amazing, I don't like opening up the forum and having to scroll around to see the pic and I also don't like small pics lol!

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Here's my '88 K1500. It started life as a 1988 GMC SLE Sierra, I've since rebadged it as a Chevrolet Silverado.
Original cab, doors, hood, and driver's side fender. Bed is off of a '94 W/T 1500. Passenger's side fender is off of my '92 Sierra. Grille is out of a '90 Silverado, wheels are off of a 2000 Silverado. This truck started in 2008 as my daily driver, as of November 2010 it has been downgraded to my work truck. Now has a headache rack, all it needs is the gooseneck hitch in the bed, which is sitting in the driveway so once the bed is cleared out, that goes in.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Gorgeous one ton. My cousin just bought a '97 3500 4X4 for 300 bucks, great condition. The original owner blew the motor and just let the truck sit out in the pasture. Cousin has a 350 Vortec he's gonna drop in it, and put it back on the road. For 300 bucks, I'd say that's a damn good deal. Considerirng he can make a daily driver out of it.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
This one's my daily driver. '92 GMC Sierra 1500 Sport with Southern Comfort conversion package.
Truck is all original except for a few things. The grille is out of my '88, and the front clip is from a '90 Silverado. Other than that it's factory. Had fiberglass ground effect running boards when I got it, those came off quick.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Finally got some new tires and got my Sport wheels mounted up on the Suburban. Hopefully it'll warm up tomorrow so I can give the thing a much needed bath.
