Really dont mind it, but this helping out in sorting/id'ing/confirming other peoples parts listed for sale here can be a full time gig on some days. These exterior door handles get listed here as 67-72 all the time, no reason yours should be any different. If a guy is looking specifically for 67's he would/should know the differences and what to ask about. I had to comment on post #1 of this thread in which you state "these are in fact 67 NOS Door Handles. Perfect Condition.. 300 bucks + shipping", and also given that you had stated "i'm a full fledged rookie" I will try and help out here. The only differences in the exterior door handles are the way the mounting bolt holes are drilled and tapped, the 67 bolt holes were staight drilled and the later handles were angle drilled. Your one pictured casting number ending in what appears to be 897 would be for a later 68-72 style angle drilled LH handle, the later style matching RH handle would end in 898 and the GM box p/n's should end in 895 and 899. The early style staight drilled & tapped 67 handle casting numbers should end in 815 and 816. Good luck on your sale, Mel.
