Hi guys, just wondering if I have this project truck overpriced. I spent $1000 on the airbag setup alone. I had it on CL and now have it on here (see my sig for link).

I'd have to agree. The only thing that turns me off is the rear bag work. The notch doesn't look very strong. Also what this an orginal leaf spring truck? Just wondering why you went the way you did on the rear suspension.

I'm pretty sure it was a rear coils truck. I just dropped it off at a shop and they did the work. The welding looks really good to me.

Ok. That's kinda weird that they changed it up so much. You could of simply put bags in place of the coil springs and saved a bunch of fab work. Edit: looking at the mounts on the rearend it looks like it had leafs, at least the rearend came from a leaf spring truck. Neverless I think it should bring you asking price if you patiant. Maybe spend a weekend and bolt the sheet metal back on it. It's alot easier to sell a mostly complete truck. Easier to transport as well.

I was mistaken, it was a leaf spring truck. That is the same rear-end that came with the truck when I bought it. As far as bolting on the sheetmetal that's great advice! Thank you.
