52" and 63" for 1964 4x4 swb

I am really looking for info on using 52" springs in front and 63" springs in the rear of my 1964 swb 4x4. I read some threads on this and about the point I feel this is the thing to do I read about bad body roll and such. My truck will be used on the road 90% of the time and I am looking to improve the ride as much as possible. Any feed back on someone who has done this and can pass on their ride experience would be appreciated. Thx.

I'm in a similar boat myself with my 64 k10 regarding trying to do something with my suspension...

consensus of the experienced members of the boards seem to be to upgrade to newer generation chev/gmc 4x4 suspension springs which requires using that generations matching spring hangers...

or there is also the possibility of getting springs made to order from a local spring shop (here in Calgary, we have a great place called Standens) that can re-arch or make custom lengths...

what I'm hoping is getting springs made that will utilize the stock hangars, but incorporate bolt on bushing style spring eyelets... dunno if its possible I'm going to find out from them if they can do it...
