Re: Let's see some big lifted 73-87

Last pictures of mine before I sold it.

It was an 83 GMC (85 grille), mild 355 SBC, TH400/NP208, factory 3/4 ton running gear. That truck had all southern body panels including the cab, completely redone interior, fresh paint, 6" suspension lift, 3" body lift, 16x10 Ion alloy wheels, and 38x15.50 MT Baja Claw Radials. I loved that truck and regret having to sell it.

Re: Let's see some big lifted 73-87

I love the big, fat wheels. They're impossible to find now. I've got 15x14 rims, and I can get a 14.5 wide tire on there, but they look like balloons. I'd really like to find 17 or 18 inches wide, but the only options I can find are 44 inches tall. I need something less than 40.

Re: Let's see some big lifted 73-87

I guess if I'm gonna talk about big fat tires and join in on the thread, I better post the pics, huh? That's all anybody really cares about.

Anybody know of a source for fat, wide tires under 40 inches tall? The only one I've found still for sale are 39.5x18x15 Boggers, and I don't really like the Boggers.

The mud kinda adds some sexy to it, I think.

Nice trucks guys! It's getting pretty hard to find super wide tires these days it seems.
