Wouldn't those actually be '70 only?
(since the '69 red, was actually maroon)

I usually list them as the years they will fit. There's a lot of custom trucks out there and the owners want to know if they will fit or not. I sell quite a few red seat covers to guys with black trucks of all years. If I remember right in 1969 they had red, oxblood red and some two tone red seat covers.

, the 69 red was a dark red/maroon which was only used in 69, these original unrestored seats were removed from a 69 CST/30. Mel

What year truck are your buckets out of? If they are out of a 69 or 70 they will fit. Otherwise they would require a lot of foam work. Thanks.

If you are talking NOS you have a valid point. Since these are aftermarket, for a 69-70 is a good call.

one other qwestion, Do these need to be instsalled by an upholstery shop or are they DIY friendly?

It really depends on your skill level and more importantly your patience. Quite a few of the people I have sold to have installed them and had great results. I am a firm believer in letting the professionals do it.
