250 vs. 292 and other questions

First, I was wondering if a 292 is a direct bolt in replacement for a 250? Also, do the oil pans swap over? The reason I ask is that I might be able to pick up a 292 cheap. This guy was having an old orange truck of his towed away when the motor dropped right out onto the street! Said the oil pan and exhaust was a bit dented up, but it was still in pretty good shape and was running when he parked it a couple months ago. Oh yeah, I'm going to be getting headers and a 4bbl intake for the 250 this summer and was wondering if those parts would swap over as well. I don't know what brand they are, but the headers are shorties that were originally on a 250 in an omega.

Also, what is the ratio of 67 C10's made vs. 68 C10's made? I see a LOT more big window 68's than I do 67's both on this board and just from looking around.
