Save a '65 C30 Panel

Moderator - I don't want to get in trouble for selling, this is not my truck, I'm just trying to save it from being cut up for scrap. Delete this post if needed.

Some folks on a hot rod board I'm on bought a 1965 C30 Panel van without a title. I believe it runs. They had no idea what they were buying, they thought it was a '64 3/4 ton that somehow ended up longer than stock. This is a big ugly beast with a 10 (maybe 9.5) foot bed. They got frustrated with the process in getting a title here in Illinois and plan to part it out and scrap it. So if someone wants it, send me a PM with your contact info and I will forward your info to them. Or you can register on the Chrome Czar board and contact them directly, see links below. It should be really cheap, they live in Plano, IL.

Here are some of the threads on it:

This falls under the "if it was closer, I would try" category.

Re: Save a '65 C30 Panel

I desperately want one of those 1ton panels, but I have to concentrate on my other projects first.

If I were closer I'd absolutely try and score it and bump it to the top of the project list.
